After a courageous three-year battle with cancer, Louise Flack, 67, passed away peacefully at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville, NC. Louise was born and raised in Hamilton, NC, graduated from Oak City High School and was a former resident of Roanoke Rapids.

Louise loved listening to classical music, laughing, spending time with her family, being outdoors and taking care of her cherished dog, Max. She touched the lives of many people with her warmness and generosity, and maintained her trademark sense of humor and courageous spirit throughout her illness.

She was one of five children born to the late Dallas and Sadie Roebuck and was the beloved wife of the late Paul Flack for over 25 years. Louise was also preceded in death by her loving sister, Lois, and her brother, Jimmie.

She will forever be remembered by her loving son, John Thales and his wife, Noelle; her treasured grandchild, Jude Thales; her devoted siblings, Sylvia Taylor and Lemuel Roebuck; and countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know her.

Friends and family are invited to attend a graveside service on Friday, July 17, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Crestview Memorial Cemetery, 489 Smith Church Road, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870.
